Tasting
Colour
Dark Alizarin carmine with a background of Prussian blues. The overseas violet edges. Lots of well covered coat.
Nose
When standing, minerality appears with iodines and Chinese ink with a soft sweetness. When shaken, the fruit emerges and a marked toast that is nuanced so that the black fruits are the predominant ones. Pastry and burnt vine gradually envelop the nose. The dark chocolate with pepper and a light bay leaf are also appreciated so that, in the end, the memory of the harvest afternoons with the grapes in the press is the most intense aroma.
Mouth
Intense, spirited, with highly polished tannins. It is very sweet, generating a dense and tasty salivation, the taste of ripe cherry being the one that prevails over the cedar and slate, which try to compete with it. In the end the sensation is silky and friendly. The aftertaste is very long, noble, which returns the same aromas that are marked at the beginning. He is a mature teenager with the DNA of the house, La Sonsierra and vineyard height of age.
Awards
