Sit among the towns of San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Rivas de Tereso, at an altitude of about 600 meters.
Each vineyard’s terroir type of small size, not more than 1 hectare, and has its own name: La Cóncoba, Fuente de la Isilla, Vizcarra, Camino de Rivas and Tasugueras. The total area of vineyards is around 4.60 hectares.
The soil is calcareous clay, poor in organic matter, nutrients and minerals. The age of the vines is around 35 years, with a planting density of 5,500 kg. per hectare.
Pruning is short, 70% glass and 30% trellis, 5 inches.
